Kevin Sandlin, Chief Executive Officer
Sandlin is the primary business and marketing manager for CWNP. Sandlin has twelve years of high tech marketing, management, business and product development experience. He developed the financial model and managed the overall process of the 1995 IPO of A.D.A.M. Software, Inc. Sandlin also managed the acquisition of TSI, a leading fax service bureau, by First Data Corporation (NYSE:FDC) in 1997. Sandlin was Director of Business Development and behind the re-launch of the Western Union's worldwide internet services division. He holds a BA from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, an MBA from Georgia State University, and management certificates from Kellogg, Fuqua, and Wharton business schools.
Cary Chandler, President
Chandler has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development and operations management in a broad range of industries. He has played major roles in four successful start-up ventures, including ADAM and Vadum Technologies. He has been responsible for sales and marketing for large and small firms in 55 countries around the world. Chandler earned a BS in Economics from Auburn University and completed the Advanced Management Programme at the University of Oxford (U.K.).
Devin Akin, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Akin has accrued twelve years of in-depth networking experience. Previously he has been a Network Engineer for EarthLink, Foundry, BellSouth, and Sentinel Technologies and an RF Calibration Technician for the U.S. Army. Akin holds some of the industry's most esteemed networking certifications, including INFOSEC, CCSP, CCNP, CCDP, MCNE, and MCSE. He has authored books with Sybex and McGraw Hill and has a background in network consulting and teaching, and writes exams, practice exams, whitepapers, and courseware for The CWNP Program. Akin has spent most of the last six years doing in-depth research and staying abreast of new developments in the WLAN industry. He is considered an authority on Wi-Fi technology.
Scott Turner, Chief Information Officer
Turner has accumulated more than ten years of technology experience developing communications applications. Previously he was the Chief Software Developer at TSI/Western Union, where he architected and developed systems for clients, such as United Parcel Service, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, and Southwest Airlines. Turner holds a BS in Computer Science.
Tommy Edwy, Vice President of Marketing
Edwy has 10 years of experience in electronic marketing, operations management and technology. He is a graduate of the Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP) at General Electric. At GE Energy, he was responsible for all wireless and mobile technologies throughout the company. Edwy founded a successful web-based marketing company and sold it in 2006. Since then Edwy has been COO of Chicago-based DreamSoft, a high-end web development company. Edwy graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Management Information Systems.
Scott Williams, Senior Vice President of Customer Development
Williams has more than 10 years of sales and management experience specializing in the growth of customer relationships in addition to managing multi-million dollar accounts. Previously, he was the National Accounts Manger at Western Union with such clients as UPS, Hewlett Packard, First Data Corp., and Southwest Airlines. He was behind the implementation of Southwest Airlines electronic confirmation fax application program. Williams has spent the last three years growing and managing more than 50 Education Partners with the CWNP Program. Williams graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens with a BSED in Technology Education.
