CWNA and CWSP ILT Classes Count for 40 Hours of CISSP CPE Credit

ATLANTA, Georgia - May 23, 2008 - CWNP, the industry standard for wireless LAN training and certification, today announced the CWNA and CWSP classes count for 40 hours of CPE credits.

(ISC)2 is the globally recognized Gold Standard for certifying information security professionals throughout their careers. There are over 60,000 CISSP information security professionals in more than 120 countries.

"CWNA Wireless LAN Administration and CWSP Wireless LAN Security are an essential part of network management.," says Kevin Sandlin, CEO and co-founder of CWNP. "Having these classes count as CPE credits just ads more value to our customers."

CISSP certification requires continuing education to ensure an individual's certification is in good standing.

In addition to paying an annual maintenance fee and subscribing to the (ISC)2 Code of Ethics, an (ISC)2 credential holder must earn a minimum number of CPE credits each year over a three year period and the total required for recertification- or retake their examination. CPE credits are earned through activities related to the information security profession.

At this time the credits only count if the classes are taken through Peachtree Wireless, a CWNP Premiere Learning Partner.
